About Nationwide Boiler

Fremont, California, October 11, 2013

Papeles Ultra, S A de C V, a private packaging papers company located in Ixtapaluca, Mexico, recently purchased a complete boiler solution from Nationwide Boiler Inc. It included a Babcock & Wilcox 200,000 lb/hr, 750 psig design pressure / 750 F superheated package watertube boiler, equipped with a Coen / Todd shop-assembled low NOx package burner, EconoStak economizer, and stub stack. All required duct work was also included.

Nationwide Boiler's Business Development Manager, William Testa, worked with Papeles Ultra and provided a solution that helped increase the company’s steam capacity to achieve a greater product output and assisted with the fuel conversion project of firing #6 heavy oil to a cleaner burning natural gas. In addition to the new boiler system, Nationwide Boiler also supplied engineering services for civil site and foundation plot plan drawings. This made it possible for Papeles Ultra to make site preparations for the boiler while it was being fabricated at Babcock & Wilcox's facility in West Point, Mississippi. From there it would ship to Ixtapaluca, Mexico by rail. The new boiler is scheduled to start-up the first quarter of 2014.

With total boiler equipment assets worth over $98,000,000, Nationwide Boiler is the largest rental and boiler equipment sales company in the world. The company specializes in the supply of new and reconditioned boiler equipment to plants involved with fuel conversions projects.
